A2B Movers Website copy

This Bolton based family-run packing and moving company needed my help to write the copy for their first-ever website. 

They wanted the website to be friendly and welcoming, just like them. I wrote the copy in a conversational tone, profiling the personalised service they offer. 

The owners told me about how the company came about. It was both inspiring and relatable, so I included the story to help A2B Movers connect more with their audience.

Excerpt from 'Our story' page 

The weekends were filled with bringing the kids to various classes and activities and the pressure of needing to pack up for our move was mounting. Like many households, we were too busy to pack. 

We called local removal companies to find out if they could not only move our belongings, but also pack them. But none provided this service.  So we crammed packing up our family home into the last few days before our move, packing right through the night to the morning of the move.

We were delighted to be in our new family home, but were left exhausted and drained, and promised ourselves that we’d never ever do it like this again.

Redundancy led to a huge career change

Less than a year after we moved home, David was made redundant from his job of 15 years. 

He used his redundancy payment to buy our first removal van and he set up a removal service which he ran from our family home. Word spread by word of mouth, and we had a steady stream of local customers that needed our removal help. 

Some 20 plus years later, we help an average of 200 households move each year. We have a large storage premise in Bolton, and now offer the full packing and moving service we desperately needed when we were moving back in 1990.
