A case study on The Black Care Experience

The Black Care Experience are on an incredible mission to ensure that all black children and young people remain connected with their culture, identity and heritage, as they journey through the UK’s social care system. It’s founded by the amazingly talented entrepreneur, speaker, trainer and author, Judith Denton.


Judith’s schedule had become increasingly busy, and she was struggling to maintain a consistent presence on social media. So, she reached out for my help.

Your voice in the writing process  


The annual Black Care Experience Conference has become a premier event for people working with black children in social care across the country. But Judith didn't have the capacity to promote it.


While AI can generate copy quickly, Judith needed a copywriter who could grasp the deeper significance of their mission and translate it in a way their community could relate to.


During our one-hour kick-off call, Judith shared with me the importance of the event, what she was looking to achieve and who she wanted to speak to. My writing process is highly collaborative, so my kick-off calls are perfect in helping me to bring their voice across with authenticity and accuracy.


I wanted their social posts to reflect their authentic voice and culture, both of which are the driving forces that make their conferences so impactful. I wanted to help their posts get seen by the people they wanted to get seen by,  ultimately leading to tickets sold and a full conference room! 


And, the result…
