You'll have a 30 minute scoping call where we talk through your needs.
I’ll then email you a proposal with the work I'll be doing and an estimate of how much it will cost.
Once it’s all systems go, we’ll work through a copywriting brief to find out what you’d like to achieve from the project. We'll also identify your target audience and decide on the copy's tone of voice etc.
I’ll then email you a letter of engagement, the completed copywriting brief, deadlines and the all important terms of business.
When you’re happy for the work to start, you’ll need to secure the job with a deposit of 50%.
Once the payment has been made, I'll start working on your first draft.
This is the fun part. I'll submit the first draft, which hopefully you love. Or together we’ll make any necessary tweaks.
We'll work together to iron out any kinks in the copy (within three rounds of revision).
I’ll then send through the final version and you'll send through the final payment.

I charge a flat fee, which is agreed with you beforehand. The fee is based on the complexity of the job and how long it will take to complete it. When working with agencies or companies I usually charge by the day.

Yes, I ask for a 50% deposit before I start. With the remaining balance required once the work is completed.
Together we'll work through a copywriter brief. This will help me to get to grips with your businesses' uniqueness and reduce the need for too much 'toing and froing' in the drafting process.
Then I go off and do the fun (but time-consuming) writing work, freeing you up to work on your business.

I never outsource my writing projects. I know my clients are happy with my work, and I want them to be confident that I'm actually doing it.
There may be times when I'm too busy to take on a project. In this case, I will sadly decline the project and when possible, recommend another writer who may be able to help.
